(Extinguishers- for small fires)

Ø  CO2 extinguisher: (For classes-A,B,E)

·       Reuse.
·       Refill.           Advantages

Ø  Dry chemical powder: (For classes-B,C,E)


·       No reuse
·       Only refill
·       It operates for only 45-60 seconds

Ø  Pressure filled DCP: (For classes-A,B,C,E)

·       Reuse
·       Refill

Ø  Chemical foam extinguisher:(For class B)
   
·       When extinguishing upside down reverse position is preferable.
·       No reuse
·       Only refill
·       Do not use for electrical fires.


Ø  Mechanical foam extinguisher:(For class B)

·       Only refill
·       No reuse
·       Do not use for electrical fires.


Ø  Soda acid extinguisher:(For class A)

·       No reuse
·       Only refill
·       Do not use for electrical fires.


Ø  Water type extinguisher:(For class A)

·       No reuse
·       Only refill
·       Do not use for electrical fires.


Ø  Halon extinguisher:(For classes A,B,C,D,E)

·       Its production is banned nowadays because while preparing halon, the gases like Br, Fl, Cl are went out.
·       They affect the ozone layer.
